Accessorize Intense Colour Lipglosses

Accessorize beauty have a few new make up releases and I CANNOT WAIT to share them with you. I have used a couple of Accessorize products in the past and I have absolutely loved the products. Having played around with some of the new releases, I might go as far to say that this brand is one of my favourite beauty brands ever.

First of all, I am sharing this 'intense colour lipgloss' with you. Well, I don't like to make bold statements on this blog, but I can safely say that this is the best lipgloss I have EVER tried.

The new Accessorize packaging is absolutely stunning. It's covered in multicoloured butterflies and leopard print and is just so pretty. However, if you are into your high end makeup which has conservative packaging then it might not be to your taste. I love it and I think that the products will make great presents. The pigmentation is faultless! The left swatch on my swatch photos is using one swipe of product. Pretty amazing. This could be a really cheap alternative to MAC Vegas Volt lipstick, I will do a comparison post soon.

The colour lasted around 2 hours on my lips before it started to fade. It faded really nicely and didn't end up in the fine lines of my lips. The lipgloss isn't sticky at all which makes it really comfortable to wear. It has a strong scent which is very similar to the Lip Booms from MUA and I would describe it as a sweet-cupcake kind of smell. However, it's not that noticeable when it's on the lips.

The only negative thing I have to say about this product is the lack of a shade name on the tube. I know there are 6 different lipgloss shades, but I couldn't tell you which one this was as it doesn't say on the packaging. I have found this to be the case with other products created my the same manufacturer. So this shade is either 'Spirit & Zest' or 'Incite'. Sorry I can't be more accurate but the images on my press release make this one and the orange one look very similar. I really want the orange one though! There are 8 shades which range from nudes to a bright raspberry pink.

This will cost £3.95 from Accessorize and Superdrug from June 6th.

Have you ever tried Accessorize make up?

P.S. Please read Charli's post from today, her family was burgled last night and hopefully the power of blogger and twitter might help with the case.

The bird is the word

Firstly, sorry for the massively cheesy and tacky family guy related title, but it's appropriate ("oh have you not heard? It was my understanding that everyone had heard", SORRY, I will stop now). Anyways, I am here to share this delightful playsuit from Glamorous with you all. It has birds all over it which is my favourite print, so I knew I just had to have it.

The material is such lovely quality as is the belt. It's not one of those cack little belts that come on a dress from Primark! The material is so soft and silky and it feels really cool to wear (the temperature kind of cool). This will DEFINITELY be coming to Cape Verde with me.

Playsuit- Glamorous* - £29.99
Sunglasses- From a market in Turkey
Lipstick- MAC Girl About Town

Also, Glamorous have 20% off the entire website and FREE worldwide delivery until the end of May. To get the 20% off, all you have to do is type 'Glamorous20' at the checkout.

Topshop swan trousers- Primark version!

Yesterday I was walking through town and noticed these swan trousers in the window of Topshop. I did a double take and realised that they were basically identical to the swan printed trousers that I wore in THIS post.

Mine were only £10 from Primark so that's a pretty good saving of £28. So if you had your eye on the Topshop version, I would have a little look in Primark to see if they are still available. There are slight differences in the Primark version as they aren't cropped, but they are still pretty similar.

Just a heads up!

Forever we sail into infinity

I woke up this morning and looked out of my window and the sun had disappeared. Clouds blanketed the sky and the sun was no where to be seen. However, when I brought the washing in (oooh, I have an exciting life), I realised that it was actually really warm. Connor and I had decided to go into town and I was a bit stumped at what I should wear because it was warm but also looked like it was going to rain. Anyway, I put this top and leggings on and took a cardigan with me in case it got a bit colder. It actually got warmer and the heat started to rival the days of sun that we experienced last week.

Yes, I realise that the top image is quite overexposed but I left the camera on manual when Connor was taking the photos and he is still learning and didn't realise he had to check the photos to make sure the exposure was ok. I love this top because the material makes it lovely and cool to wear on a warm day. The leggings are new too and have a 'wet look' strip down the side of them. They are just shiny material and are really comfy to wear. For £4.99, I can't complain!

Top- Ebay
Leggings- Ebay
Sandals- Primark
Sunglasses- Primark

Have you bought any bargains from ebay recently?

Nails Inc- Bluebell

Well, well, well... what a beautiful week it has been so far. Like many others, I have had my face to the sun at any possible opportunity. I am now happy refreshed from a shower (isn't having a shower after sunbathing the nicest feeling EVER?) and full to the brim with burgers and salad.

Any who, the show must go on. This is another one of the Nails Inc nail polishes which were released with InStyle magazine. I have to say, this is possibly one of my favourite nail polishes ever just for the colour. I have mentioned before that cornflower blue is my favourite colour in the world so it doesn't surprise me why I love this nail polish so much. If you would like to see my review of 'Power Pink', please take a look here.

(flash)

Number of layers- 2. Formula is quite streaky. This evened out with a second coat though.
Drying time- about 5-10 minutes per coat.
Overall colour- A cornflower blue with a hint of violet. So gorgeous.
Wear time- Nails Inc nail polishes always last around 2-3 days on my nails without chipping.
Packaging- The usual Nails Inc bottle design. It acknowledges on the bottle that it was released with InStyle magazine.

Which of these colours take your fancy? What is your favourite part of the summer?

Dip-dye

Well, what a gorgeous day it has been in Cumbria! Mum and I decided to go to a local car boot sale and see if anything would take our fancy but sadly nothing did. There were two vintage maxi dresses that I liked and I would have cut them down and made them shorter and wore them with a belt, but I really don't need any more clothes so I just left them. I thought I would share what I decided to wear with you. I left my hair natural and just did my brows and put some mascara on to make myself look vaguely presentable.

Swan trousers- Primark
Belt- Primark (clipped on with kirby grips as the trousers didn't have belt holes, grrr)
Dip dye vest- Mens from Primark
Vest- Primark
Cardigan- H&M
Shoes- Primark
Bag- Charity shop
Sunglasses- Oscar De La Renta (I always wear sunglasses to a car boot sale as you feel less pressure to buy something!)

I picked up the swan trousers, belt and dip dye vest when I was at the Metro Centre in Gateshead last week. I am aware that the swan trousers look a bit like pjs but they aren't. They are very comfy though! Is it wrong that the vest is the favourite item that I bought and it's actually from the mens section? I wasn't overly enthralled with the ladies section to be honest, everything was too neon or covered in headache-inducing prints for me. I still managed to pick up some things for my holidays though. 4 weeks tomorrow, eeeeeek.

Anyways, hope you have had a lovely day in the sunshine, I'm actually at work now so think of me when you are tucking into your roast dinner with Yorkshire puddings!

Have you been into Primark recently? What did you think of the clothes that were on offer?

Lots of love
