MAC Chatterbox lipstick

Recently, my parents went on holiday to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. The closest MAC counter to me is at the Metro Centre in Gateshead (just over an hour away) so I have to rely on blogs to get swatches for MAC items. As Manchester airport has a MAC counter in their duty free shop (even better!), I asked Mam to pick me up Vegas Volt. If Vegas Volt was sold out, I asked her to bring me Chatterbox home, but she very kindly brought me back both.

I first saw this lipstick on Louise's blog after she won it in a competition. I LOVE Amplified Creme formulas in MAC lipsticks, so I decided this would be a perfect one for me after loving it on Louise's blog!

The application of this lipstick couldn't be any better and the staying power is brilliant! It is also very creamy and doesn't make my lips feel dry when wearing it. I also love the name of this lipstick as it just totally sums me up!









I am going to take this on holiday with me but I'm a bit worried about it melting.. should I keep it in the fridge? Or just in a cool, dark place?

  1. Chatterbox is on my MAC lipstick wishlist as is Vegas Volt :) It looks very pretty on you! I'm not sure about the fridge thing.. I think Cremesheens have the biggest issue in warmth, I'm not sure about Amplifieds! Sorry!

  2. Well that's what I thought, but I think it's a lot softer than my cremesheens so I'm not overly sure! Hmmm. You need to get them both, they are gorge ;) xxx

  5. Love this, it looks lighter on your lips than it did on mine!
    I would definatly keep lipsticks in the fridge if there is one in your room, melted mac lipsticks are awful! xx
