MAC Vegas Volt Lipstick

As I mentioned in a previous post, my parents brought me back this lipstick when they went on holiday. I first saw it on Milly's blog and was seriously wowed at how stunning it is. Then I saw it on my favourite beauty blog Vivianna Does Makeup and I was totally swayed towards buying it. Every May or so, Coral becomes the 'it' summer make up colour, whether it be for nails, lips or cheeks. Coral coloured make up also looks brilliant with a variety of different skin tones, which makes it very easy and versatile to wear.

I think I am becoming a bit addicted to the Amplified Creme formula lipsticks as they are such a joy to wear and apply. They are so creamy and the lasting power is amazing. I wore this out to a meal with my family and it lasted through 2 drinks and three courses of food, which in my books is pretty impressive. What I also love about this lipstick is that it contains no shimmers and it is so creamy, as you can see by the lip swatch below.

  4. wooow, this colour looks great on your lips, i've got a coral lipstick at the minute but mines darker, i love this colour better, i keep meaning to buy a mac lipstick and try them out, i use the foundation as i'm new to mac products, "i kept seeing all these great reviews"

    but you've swayed me...

  6. Great photos! I love seeing bloggers who make an effort with the photography side of their blog :D It's a lovely colour which has become popular once again with all the warm weather. It's actually been on my wishlist for ages but I don't know when I'll be brave and buy it! :) xxx
