Enter Star Eyes eyelashes...
I first spotted these just over a year ago and I have used them for going out ever since. They are the easiest lashes to put on and I think they actually look really natural considering they are quite long. The first thing which attracted me to these lashes though is the price... wait for it....
£1.59 FOR TWO PAIRS!?!
Yes, that's right. That's just crazy. So I bought them and I have never looked back since. Although the glue isn't great so I just use duo glue instead.
This is a photo taken a bit of a distance so you can see the overall effect. (Sorry for the whole looking a bit glazed over on the photo thing, I'm teetotal so when I drank this ONE cocktail I got slightly drunk... hmm, to be fair, it's MASSIVE)
I religiously buy these lashes from Home Bargains, however I'm not sure whether anywhere else sells them!! So if you live near a Home Bargains, do try them! I would maybe try other shops too such as Savers, B&M, Bodycare and all those other little cheap shops. I know Home Bargains also sell some exactly the same but in a different packaging for £1.99 which is still a massive bargain. I think they will probably just make a massive batch and put them in different boxes, so do keep an eye out for them.
What do you think about these kind of cheap shops? Have you ever found some brilliant bargains in them?
Lots of love
Amy

they look really natural! I love them! I've always been using the Eylure ones but at £4+ for a pair of eyelashes it can get a bit expensive considering I buy them every week.
ReplyDeleteWill have to try these ones out, thank you!

I often think of fake eye lashes as being way too over dramatic and ‘fake’ looking, these ones have proven me wrong! They look really natural! x

ReplyDeleteI love fake ashes, I usually get the cheap £3 set from H&M lol. They're so good! They make such a difference too. Yours look great <3

these actually look really nice & fairly natural too. i like that they don't have a huge black band and look decent without the need for loads of liquid eyeliner. great find! xx

£1.59 is brilliant for eyelashes that look like that! x
ReplyDeleteGosh they are bargainous! They don't look too OTT either (: My falsies are from a stage job-lot that my cousin pilfered for me from her make-up artist! She's a TV/film actress in Hong Kong, perks of the job and being family and all that ;)
ReplyDeleteGoing to have to give these lashes a try!
ReplyDeleteYou're so pretty by the way, the lipstick you've got on in your last picture really suits you xx

Before reading this if I'km honest I would have probably just sauntered past those, and if I noticed would have sniffed and thought "those aren't eyelure..." but alas they look amazing! And to be fair I've shelled out a few pennies on eyelashes in the past and have never got as far as leaving the house with a pair on, they always seem to slide down my lids

They look great on you. I'm absolutely rubbish with lashes, I get too frustrated with trying to put them on and just give up in the end haha. But I'd probably try these considering they're so cheap!! I work in Boots and it's like £6 for one pair or something stupid like that!! x
