This lipstick is a slight cult product in the beauty world. Mainly because this is the lipstick that Kim Kardashian loves (paired with Nars Turkish Delight lipgloss). Now I'm not sure about anyone else, but I personally would do anything I could to look a bit more like Kim, hence why I bought it.
The colour is a gorgeous muted pink and it's also not too blue under toned. However, it is seriously so drying but if I wear it with a lip balm it slides all over the place! Never mind, it's a lovely everyday colour and it will get a lot of wear.

What a perfect shade!! Looks so natural but gives you just a tiny pop of color! Looks like I need to hop on this wagon and go to MAC and pick it up!!

Oooh I like it! I have myth by Mac and I find that really drying, I still wear it but it just doesn't get as much wear as my others! Really want to try this now though!! xxx

ReplyDeleteit looks lovely! i'd persist but maybe put a gloss over the top to see if that helped. maybe try creme cup next time? they look the same but it's not as drying (cremesheen) :) xx

I'm afraid to say I give up on lipsticks if they aren't the right texture! Tried a Barry M one once and found it way to drying so it was given to a friend. Love this colour though, and i hear good things about mac all the time! x

On your question, i would still wear a lip stick if I didn't like the formula because you can change the formula by layering with balm, gloss or a layer of lip pencil.

ReplyDeleteI totally love this lipstick and I've bought it for the exact same reason.. maybe I'd look a bit more Kardashianalised haha :) I don't find it drying though!! Mine's extremely moisturizing! I think maybe you should let the lipbalm sink in before you apply the lipstick. I bet you it will make a difference x :)
