Today I'm bringing you a lipstick which I'm pretty surprised that I haven't mentioned before. This is E.l.f Mineral Lipstick in Nicely Nude. First off, this is NOT a nude. Maybe they mean nude as in a bare lips/understated lipstick, who knows but I think it's quite misleading. It's a really pretty pink colour and depending on your colouring it could look slightly peachy. It's such a gorgeous colour and it could literally be used for any occasion.
I thought that maybe this could be a dupe for MAC Angel, but realised it is a lot warmer than that and it really makes the blue undertones in Angel stand out when it is swatched next to it! As someone who has a lot of yellow undertones in my skin, I find it quite hard to find a pink lipstick which doesn't have cool undertones. However, this one is brilliant so I would really recommend it to those who have a warm skin tone.
The formula feels very dry, just like Angel come to think of it. Maybe it's because it's a mineral product? Who knows. However it would be fine with a bit of balm or gloss on top!

ReplyDeleteI bought two of there lipstick a few weeks ago when they had there 50% offer on, and i got the ELF mineral lipstick, the colours were so different from the website though, i got a pink that was a lot lighter than expected, there great little lipsticks and they go on so great, they do for the day time if you want to add a hint of colour.

ReplyDeleteThe only ELF product i've tried is runway pink - i love it. i've heard the swatches are very different to the lipsticks in RL so im hesitant about buying!
