If you are anything like me, you will ALWAYS get your necklaces tangled. I have always found it so hard to store them and I don't understand that even if you put them into a jewelley box straight they SOMEHOW managed to get really mangled into the tiny little ball?! Does anyone else find this?! Oddest thing ever. However, my mam came home from work one day with these two things and I have no idea what they were for. She suggested that I used them to store longer necklaces and I LOVE them.
So what are they? Mug stands!
The perfect thing about these is that you can also hang bangles off them and you can also paint them to suit your room. I would love to paint them white if I had a bedroom which was a little shabby chic haven.
The best thing, they only cost about £1.50 from more or less anywhere!!
How to do you store your necklaces?
Lots of love

That's a really great idea. I saw a white shabby chic necklace holder for £7.99 the otherday, I think you've swayed me from it with a bit of DIY :)

Sounds great, but what are mug stands?? Where can you buy them? I feel so stupid, but atleast the english word dont say much for me. I bet we don't even have those in Finland:S
ReplyDeleteI like this idea :-) I used to use one while I was abroad and couldn't take a jewellery box/stand with me but now I used a jewellery stand for my necklaces. They still get tangled up if I'm impatient to remove them quickly though!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea, I'd never think of trying that out!
ReplyDeleteI have a necklace hanger on my wall which is pretty handy, I strangely enjoy untangling necklaces, but not when I'm in a rush! :)
