This is my face moisturiser at the moment and I think it's brilliant for making my skin feel more 'glowy' during the winter. My skin has been unusually dry recently, probably due to exposure to our fire, heating and cold weather, however this has more or less sorted it out.
I have used E45 for a multitude of things such as makeup removal (as a cleanser), soothing skin after waxing and intensely moisturising areas of really dry skin. I bet it would be great for soothing a bit of sunburn too.
I got complimented on how clear and soft my skin was by a makeup/skincare counter worker, so it must be doing some good! I don't think my skin has looked this good in a long while.
Best of all, E45 is one of the cheapest products out there. I can't state an exact price as it varies from shop to shop, but it's VERY cheap.
Who needs a £20 face cream when you can use something cheaper?
Lots of love
Amy

Great review :) I love e45. I used to suffer from eczema when I was younger too and I've been using it ever since. I use it on face and body and it's the only thing that really hydrates my skin! X
ReplyDeleteI love using this! It's one of two products I can use without breaking out. The packaging isn't as nice as most other face creams etc but who cares when it's so good! (: xox
ReplyDeletegreast post Amy. I would never have thought to use E45 as a moisturiser but now I'll definitely give this a go.Thanks for sharing. :D
ReplyDeleteI use the E45 lotion as a body moisturiser but I'm gonna get a tub of this as I think its thicker and can be used for a multitude of things :) xx
ReplyDeleteI have read so many good reviews about this product, but have not tried it out yet. After reading your post I think I may try it out very soon :)
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree, E45 is my saviour.
ReplyDeleteIt also reminds me of when I had eczema as a child.

I've honestly never used E45 cream, weird right? Perhaps I should invest in some, your review makes it sound lovely as a facecream x
ReplyDeleteI think I may try this as I always get really dry skin in the winter!

Kelly- agree, it's an amazing moisturiser. It's such a good all rounder, you know it's doing good things to your skin!
ReplyDeleteLaura- Same! Not many things don't break me out either! And I know, I wish the packaging was a little less 'medical like', but it's so cheap then I'm not really overly bothered :)
Diane- Thank you! You should, it's brilliant!
Cara- I'm not sure whether there is a difference between the tube and tub! Never tried it :) it's a bit more of a pain having it in a tub. Let me know whether there is any difference because I might get a tube next :)
Mari- You should do, it's a fab product :)
Carissa- Really glad that you like it too :)
April Lily- Well it's very cheap so even if you don't like it as a moisturiser then it's always good to have around the house :)
Katie Cakes- You should try it, it's lovely :)
Sarah- Glad you love it too!

Can't believe I've never used E45 cream on my face.. must give it a go as my skin is dry and patchy at the moment :( X
ReplyDeleteI'm always in the look for a great moisturizer! I'll have to look this up on amazon. I wish we had a Boots or a Superdrug here:)
ReplyDeleteGood review!
ReplyDeleteI use both the cream and lotion as I've developed eczema now I'm in my 30s. The cream is a thicker consistency -the lotion's a lot runnier. It's keeping my skin sane now the weather's turned colder. I like both products a lot - and they're fine as basic no-frills facial moisturisers too - they don't seem to clog my pores.
