'U & I' is a pastel lemon which I think is very similar to Models Own-Lemon Meringue. I think that it would be very hard to find a pastel yellow that isn't streaky, so I don't think that this is fault of this specific polish. I think it's the same with very pale pinks, no matter what brand or price they are I always find them very streaky. The photo above was 2 coats.
I apologize for not being able to take a swatch photo of 'LOVE U 24/7', but this happened with the brush as soon as I opened it :
It's such a shame because MUA products are so affordable and amazing quality, but I think that they need to go through further quality control tests for packaging etc because I have had a few faulty products from them now. I suppose you get what you pay for huh!? I did try using a random nail art brush to paint it on, but it just wasn't happening at all!
I like the look of 'U ROK', which is a gorgeous cornflower blue/purple. I might have to pick that one up!
Have you ever been annoyed when some shoddy packaging has not allowed you to use the product?

I had that problem with the raspberry colour polish! I tried painting a nail but it went everywhere, and I couldn't fix the brush either :( x
ReplyDeleteI love the yellow but I wish it wasn't so streaky! I do love all the colours, I've got the U R Fab raspberry shade but I don't find it lasts too well which is a shame as the colour is gorgeous (like a smoothie)!

Such a shame about the faulty brush, I must say that the brush on my U ROK is very uneven and difficult to use, but worth it for the beautiful colour (:

Aww, such a shame about the faulty one! I've had my eye on a couple of the Lovehearts polishes since I first saw swatches, so I'll definitely be trying to nab some when I see them in store! xx
